Who we are...
Based in London and New York, we are the creative technology company powering over 90% of the world’s interactive video content, enabling brands such as Disney, Ted Baker, and Dulux to explore new horizons in audience engagement and interaction, making their video content much harder working. Our Studio platform uses AI to create hotspots, content overlays, video branching and other features, making every face and object in video content touchable and clickable - and our clients are mostly in marketing, advertising and TV.

The WIREWAX Studio is a SaaS platform, but we also have an in-house Creative Solutions team who collaborate directly with ad agencies and brand clients on specific interactive projects.   We’re a very ambitious outfit: our mission is to make video as truly connected as everything else on the internet, and it’s a mission which is opening up exciting new possibilities for everyone who works at WIREWAX.

About the role
We are searching for an exceptional candidate who is passionate about creativity and technology, and can take a leadership role in initiating, developing and managing relationships with customers in the EMEA region.

You will focus on developing a pipeline of new customers for both our SaaS and Creative Solutions propositions, painting pictures for them of the possibilities afforded by working with WIREWAX and driving home our value proposition to close sales worth in the region of $1m during the remainder of 2018 (this will be your personal target).

Working closely with a sales team of two and Marketing colleagues, you will report to the CEO and co-founder, Steve Callanan, and have a dotted line in to both Dan Garraway, No 2 and co-founder, and Paul Gardener, EVP Commercial Strategy.

What you will do as our VP Client Partnerships...

  • Help identify business development / new partnership opportunities
  • Act as an ambassador for the business at all times
  • Represent the views of prospects and customers inside the business
  • Deliver new revenue of $1m during the first 6 months.
  • Deliver sales presentations to brand clients and agencies, collaborating in the development and improvement of sales assets
  • Attend weekly internal sales meetings and come prepared to discuss progress against targets
  • Supervise the utilisation of tools and processes to generate leads and monitor sales conversations / closures
  • Manage the day-to-day and long term performance of the EMEA sales team of 2
  • Identify, develop, and close deals
  • Build and manage relationships with a defined list of brands, media agencies and advertising agencies to explore sales opportunities and close deals
  • Develop the ability to conduct live demonstrations of the Studio platform’s capabilities
  • Master a firm technical understanding of WIREWAX’S product and value proposition
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team on sales strategy and targets for EMEA

Our ideal candidate will have the following talents, skills & experience:

  • A solid understanding of the marketing industry, digital media and martech
  • Extensive experience selling similar products to UK- and EMEA-based brands and agencies
  • A proven track record of successful prospecting, building strong pipelines and winning business
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, ever-evolving company, and comfort with a degree of ambiguity
  • The ability to assess client needs effectively and to tailor the WIREWAX offering to suit them
  • Experience leading, developing and inspiring a high-performing sales team to successfully achieve targets
  • An appreciation for creativity, design, and ideas
